Ching-I Lu has been in charge of trademark matters for more than 15 years. She learned trademark practice from basic trademark application matters to complex trademark oppositions, invalidations, revocations, and litigation after practicing for several years. She has handled many international trademark disputes and litigations in Taiwan, such as trademark administrative litigation between two famous shoes companies. She also assisted a HONG KONG company to retrieve its well-know mark through civil and criminal litigation. Writing professional articles regarding trademark matters and teaching trademark knowledge are typical aspects of her work. Her articles are often published in professional legal magazines and she is often invited to lecture and give presentations on her trademark legal practice.

In addition to legal matters, Chingi also manages a trademark team and established a process system to ensure that the trademark docket is well managed. To expand the trademark work, she often attends international trademark conferences abroad, such as the INTA Annual Meeting and the China Trademark Festival.

The experience of managing a trademark practice team has given Chingi an understanding of human nature. Working together with team members has also given her an opportunity to learn a great deal.
